The Public Engagement Plan outlines a comprehensive approach to gather essential input and feedback, educate the public about the Gateway Plan, and develop community consensus for a successful planning effort.

The Plan defines: (1) the distinct responsibilities of the Town of Schoharie, the project team, and the Advisory Committee; and (2) the methods used to inform and actively involve the public in the Gateway Area planning process. It specifies a variety of forums and outreach mechanisms designed to engage all interested persons in developing and preparing the final Gateway Plan.
